The chainset features an attractive aluminium crank with hollow arms for lightweight, rigidity, and durability. The crank arms offer an optimized balance between lightweight and efficiency. The crank, formed with hollow aluminum technology, is anodized with a beautiful gloss black anodized finish, giving it a luxurious look. The resin ribs on the back of the chainrings are SHIMANO 105's unique structural design that achieves both thorough weight reduction and crisp shifting performance

Full and semi synchronized shifting programable, Synchro shift compatible meaning a single shifter can control both front and rear shifting which can be fully custom tuned to your riding preferences.

Semi synchronized shifting means when a front shift is made the rear mech will automatically correct to the appropriate ratio.

The removal of traditional mechanical cables in favour of electrical wires that connect to the battery not only eliminates poor shifting caused by contaminates, corrosion and stretching, but provides effortless gear shifts.

105 Shadow design with Di2 technology, shifting is easy and precise - just a light touch, as soft as a mouse click, is sufficient for the front or rear derailleur to instantaneously select the correct gear.

The rear derailleur is now the brains of the system with wireless connectivity to the shifters. It acts as the point the system is charged, provides ANT+ connection to 3rd party devises and replaces the handlebar junction.

Button on the derailleur for Di2 operations, and LED light denotes synchronized shift mode, setting mode and charge requirements.

With proven hydraulic braking technology, the new SHIMANO 105 calipers feature the SHIMANO Flat Mount System and its low-profile design that is ideal for road bikes.
